DECKS
An old adage says there are only two days a boat owner is happy: the day they buy the boat and the day they sell the boat. While decks may be less troublesome than boats, they require much maintenance to keep them in tip-top shape and looking their best.
Consider a reskin if your deck suffers from failing stains or rotting boards. Nine times out of 10, the structural members of your deck are in good condition, with only minor repairs needed. A reskin involves removing the old deck boards and railings to replace them with maintenance-free synthetic deck boards. Artificial decking is expensive, but what you spend on the front end more than pays for itself on the back end. Along with adding value to your home, modern deck systems offer options not available with traditional builds, such as LED lighting and hidden fasteners for a streamlined, contemporary appearance.
